A blunder is a mistake. Fault is about responsibility for mistakes. For example: John made a serious blunder which cost the company thousands of pounds. He was sacked because it was his fault. usage - make a blunder (noun). We can also use blunder as a verb, In this case, it means to stumble around (literally or figuratively) with no clear purpose or direction.
