No one cares to make statistics over what I speak, so let me change your question a little bit, hoping you won't mind. The first few words are 'glue-words', i.e. they don't carry their own meaning of their own (with a few exceptions); in order to reach a truly meaningful verb you have to wait until position # 38 (to know), which is not far away from your guess (to think). This frequency list is from books; a different permutation would result would from movie scripts, or family talks, or love songs; source: en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiktionary:Frequency_lists 1 a · about · after · all · and · any · an · are · as 8 at ·been · before · be · but · by · can · could · 16 did ·down · do · first · for · from · good · great · 24 had · has · have · her · he · him · his · if · 32 into · in · is · its · it · I · know · like 40 little · made · man · may
