I grew up in a big family. Many siblings. It wasn't a joint family though. But it's really good having brothers and sisters around. Never had to wait till festivals to see other kids. lol....

I prefer a family where the parents and children live together. I realize many homes must take care of grandparents, and make room for them in the house. I am the oldest child of 10 children, who were born from one father and one mother. We had a lively loud household, of course. My husband and I had 4 boys. That was a good size family. I am not sure what you are asking, but I'll give this much information.
