what are the differences between boil, parboil, blanch and poach?
I am wondering what are the differences between them? If you can read Mandarin, please let me know which is better way to say "燙青菜" in English?

-"boil" means "a liquid start to bubble up and turn into vapour on reaching a certain temperature".
-"parboil" means "boil until partly cooked or boil in a half of time of cooking"
-"poach" means "cook (egg,...) without its shell in or over boiling water(vegetable,...)"
-"blanch" means "peel (almonds,...)by scalding or immerse(vegetable,...) briefly in boiling water."
