The most common uses are: Entry - the act of entering (a place, a competition, etc.) Entrance - the place where you enter (the entrance to a theater); the act of entering (your grand entrance) 'There's no entry for Entrance Exam' You'd better look up the definitions and apply them to your specific context.

basically it differs depending on the sentence.. for example. ICC has an entry on volleyball game. its used for saying they participated. no Id no entry. it used to say pass/ enter. entrance for example. the main entrance is near the highway. it means where people may enter. hope this helped.
