About meri and mera
I'm rly confused about "meri" n "mera". Is it like one is for girls n the other is for guys? How does it work? It depends on the subject?Also how about hay n hain? When do u use which one?

'hay' use for single things but 'hain' use for more than one things

if want to show relation with one thing then we will use HAI and if we want to show relation ship with more than one thing then we will use HAIN .....

You are absolutely right.
Always use "Meri" for female subject. and "Mera" for male subject.
The meaning of "Meri" and "Mera" is same, that is "Mine"
for more than two people u can use "Hamara" (additional information)

HI, Urdu is my native language and I teach my students. Don't confuse
1. Mera / Meri /Mary are matter to Noun
2. if the noun is Singular + Masculine, we will use " Mera"
3. if the noun is Plural + Masculine, we will use " Mary"
4. if the noun is Feminine we will use " Meri" no matter noun is Singular or Plural.

mera - for things which are masculine in gender.
e.g mera ghar (because ghar is m word)
mera college.(my college, college is masculine in hindi-urdu)
meri for femenine things
e.g. meri kitaab
meri gaadi
meri cycle etc.
