What is the meaning of these two phrases?
I often watch American movies and dramas,and I can learn many new or useful expressions...but sometimes I don't really understand the meaning of some of them even they seem to be rather easy..
Here's 2 phrases that I came across in movies
[I'm fried]
--- YOu can stay here if you want,
---he(laugh)
-- what?..it's been a while
-- No,I can't,I'm, I'm totally,totally fried,is that ok?
[Surprise me]
-- You want your big knife or your really big knife.
-- Surprise me!

lol...those are parts of the movies I've seen and I really want to figure them out

"I'm fried" - when a computer circuit overheats and burns out, we say (colloquially), "it's fried".  When we talk about ourselves, it means we are so exhausted or stressed that we cannot mentally function. We are like a burnt-out circuit in a computer.  You can also use this to describe a person on drugs.

"Surprise me" - this basically means, "You decide."  It means you trust the other person to make the decision, and pleasantly surprise you with their good choice.
