Why snake can still alive although it didn't pee and feces at all ? Why can a snake still be alive although it does not urinate or produce faeces at all ? Snakes are reptiles so they do not produce urine. Urine in mammals (like us) is the way that the body gets rid of excess nitrogen waste. Urine production takes a lot of water so is a problem for land animals. Snakes, lizards, birds and even dinosaurs eliminate nitrogen by having a combined urinary alimentary tract and they produce uric acid which is insoluble in water. The uric acid comes out in the faeces. So that is why no urine. Snakes also can exist for a long time without eating, so no eating , no faeces. I suspect that if you watch your snake long enough, it will produce faeces.
