"i ate" or "I had" or "I have had"?
if i want to tell somebody what i have eaten (?) for lunch today, can i say:
(1) i have had fish
(2) i had fish
(3) i ate fish
which one is correct?

I had fish.
(I ate fish)...is also possible, but less common.
You cannot say: "....what I've eaten for lunch today." That doesn't make sense.
What did you have for lunch?
What did you eat for lunch?
You can't use the present perfect.
