what are difference between 书 &本子?please !both of them meaning "book"

”书“ is kind of more official, like a novel, a textbook or dectionary.
”本子“ is a casual word and more likely to be understood as "brochure".

本子 means notebook or brochure
＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝
textbook is 课本
dictionary is 字典
