"老爺"一詞隱含舊時代 男尊女卑 官尊民卑 的意義 但時至今日 "老爺" 也有可能是 一家之內 妻子對於丈夫的暱稱 愛稱 或 戲稱 就如同父母親稱呼自己的兒子 或其他長輩戲稱晚輩 為 "少爺"

老爷是指古时候对男子的尊称， 我们现在并不怎么用它。：）
