hola Olivier no is used before nouns mainly,(i have NO books....) not primarily modifies adjectives, verbs and adverbs(i'm NOT famous/fat...), (i do NOT need like/need/smoke.... ) you'll see a famous saying by Seneca, (much, NOT many!) NOR is NOT a member is this family, it is compared with OR. either....or/ neither....nor to conclude, A- I'm NO fool, I'm a king. B- yes, you are not a fool. A- and you, what about you? B- me? well, as you see, I'm neither a fool NOR a king.
