I saw her yesterday. I see her = eu a vejo

I saw her yesterday would be correct. See is the present tense, as in I see her over there right now. You would also say I see her once in awhile to say that you see her sometimes, or occasionally.But the word yesterday implies past tense, which requires the word saw as the past tense of see.
