"Talk to her" or "Talk with her" ?!
Hi, can anybody explain me which one is correct and why?
I always get confused about it...
Example:
"I need to talk to her about my exam as soon as possible"
"I need to talk with her about my exam as soon as possible."

Either is acceptable. They're both equal used. They mean the same thing.
Technically, if you interpret them literally, 'talk to her' means you'll be the one doing the talking and 'talk with her' means that you'll both be talking, but no one ever means them literally (except sometimes when telling jokes).

I think that the first one is correct. =)
''Talk to someone'' (Verb)
''Chat with someone'' (Verb)
I will have a talk with her.'' (Noun)
