Is there difference between "can" and "be able to"?

Not usually. They're normally the same, but sometimes 'can' also means 'has permission to'.

"Can" is a modal, and therefore you cannot use it with other modals. For example, "will be able to talk" is possible, but "will can talk" is complete nonsense. At your level, that's enough for you to know.
