Depends on your school and major. Certain majors have different levels of maths ranging from Algebra to Calculus and most of them have a course layout that specify what you can take and what choices you have. It is best to look for a course checklist on your University's webpage. For Freshmen, usually an English course, a Math course, several introductory courses into your major, and maybe a free elective are required, which is a variable course of your choice.
