How to conjugate 아프다?
So 아프다 means "Sick" (apparently)
When conjugated, for example, "Was sick"
It becomes 아밨어요 (Correct?) (Apasseoyo)
But this confuses me, because if you follow the "rules", shouldn't it be 아벘어요?
Because 으 + 어 create ㅓ
For example, 쓰다 conjugated is 써요.

for one word ->
쓰다/쓰+어요->써요
for two or more word ->
if the prounciation of the word in front of the last word includes ㅏ or ㅗ
아프다/아프+아요->아파요
고프다/고프+아요->고파요
the prounciation of the word in front of the last word doesn't include ㅏ or ㅗ
슬프다/슬프+어요->슬퍼요
