disinfect and sterilise, neglectable and negligible, suspect and suspectable All of these words showed up in one article confusingly. 1,I cut my finger with knife accidentally, should I disinfect or serilise the wound with alcohol? 2,I did not do anything, so my contribution could be negligible or neglectable? 3,when used as an adjective, is suspect identical with suspectable? Thank you very much.

I don't know that neglectable or suspectable are actual English words. I've never seen them and in an online dictionary search they come up as spelled incorrectly. In the U.S. sterilize is spelled with a 'z'. It might be spelled with an 's' in another English speaking country, I'm not sure. www.dictionary.com

1 disinfect and sterilize is near the same 2 negligible able of negligence...neglectable able to be neglected, completely different 3 one can suspect and if one can suspect the situation could be described as suspectable
