can you help to understand this ad? Below is part of the description of a hair craft salon deal from Groupon. I don't understand well about the part I picked out. Anyone can help to explain them to me? Having unkempt hair can make you appear disoriented and unhinged during job interviews, first dates, and shouting matches with the neighbor's bush. Keep it together with this Groupon. - what is the meaning of "shouting matches with the neighbor's bush" They also extend their salon services to men—they can trim beards or dye hair a rustic flannel plaid. - what does it mean by "dye hair a rustic flannel plaid" he’s worked in the salon industry for more than a decade. Arguing with the neighbor's bush is when you and your neighbors yell negative comments to each other outside from your own backyards. Sometimes people plant a tall row of bushes to provide privacy between the two yards. When you are arguing, it looks like you are yelling at the bushes. Plaid is a fabric pattern. Google plaid images for examples. The hair stylist claims to be so good at coloring beards that he could even make a plaid design with the colors. Mold manes means to style hair. We call the hair on lions and horse's heads manes. Mold means to take something from a very basic form and change it into something else.

Ok, first point: the ad is no in a serious nor formal style. . shouting matches: guess: Living in the suburbs it is common to cut hedges & such, green plant boundaries between properties. Sometimes one wants/needs to trim or collect leaves dropped from a bush that is technically the neighbours. Perhaps in a heated moment it has been known to shout at a bush that causes you trouble, or that you wish were simply not there. . "dye hair a rustic flannel plaid" - They can dye hair in patterns. http://www.etsy.com/listing/89494406/goin-home-rustic-1960s-plaid-flannel Shows a rustic (country-like) flannel (soft cloth) plaid (check) shirt a guy might wear. I think it is suggesting that guys have ideas on hair & dress that may be different to gals. . "mold manes" - probably American for "mould manes" A mane is the hair round the neck of a male lion. This is similar to a beard on a man. Some men seem to have unruly beards. To mould is to shape. They can cut beards into neater shapes. . The add is aimed at women & at women who want to shape/craft/refine their man. . All guesses: some other interpretations & details may be just as justifiable.
