What is the meaning of "이라고 하더군요."
소식을 가지고 자신이 하고 싶은 일을 하면 보람을 느낄 수 있는 사람이 행복한 사람이라고 하시더군요.
I read a sentence above today and there is pattern of "이라고 하더군요" in it. I know the grammar of 더라 / 더군요. It means you say something about what you experienced directly.
e.g. 생각보다 맛있더군요. It's more yummy than I thought.(I tasted it)
But here in the above sentence, there is the 간접인용 and it seems like that there is nothing to experience. I guess it means "it reminds me ...." or something like that, but I am not sure about it.
What does the pattern really mean? Could anyone help me. Thanks.
