What does "You may never, ever do something" mean?
I found such a sentence:
You may never, ever do something.
"Never" means "at no time in the past or future", and Ever" means "at any time", why we can put them together?

"You can not do this at any time." That is what it means when you combine NEVER and EVER.
Hope it helped.

"never, ever" is used as a strong emphasis on the idea that what it should NOT take place at any time for any reason

We use 'ever' to add emphasis.
