what is the differences between botch and bungle ?

Hi Haiduong2111, The literal meaning of Botch and Bungle are pretty much the same. They both mean to mess something up though ineptness, or bad practice, or being clumsy. Examples would be : Botched a job or Bungled a job, although in some circumstances one will sound better than the other in the sentence. "He botched the job interview" sounds better to me than "He bungled the job interview" -G
