this/that/it is the first time that I 've visited your hometown.what are these sentence structure?

I suggest that "it is the first time" is correct.
For example: when you wanna ask somebody: "What time is it?" The person will answer you: "It is 9 a.m."

This is the first time that I've visited ...
That was the first time that I had visited ...
