Jean used to visit her friend for the occasional days and weekends.
Does the word days mean working days? Thank you.

occasional means not often, almost random. It doesn't mean working days. It just means that Jean visits her friend every so often.

Yes "days" means business days.
Usually it is from Monday-Friday and the weekend is Saturday and Sunday.
