kingly = stately or splendid, as in something or someone resembling, suggesting, or befitting a king; regal
royal = of or pertaining to a king, queen, or other sovereign; descended from or related to a king or line of kings; having the rank of a king or queen.
sovereign = a monarch - a king, queen, or other supreme ruler; a person who has supreme power or authority; a group or body of persons or a state having sovereign authority.
So basically 'kingly' is something/someone that brings to mind the idea of being king, 'royal' is thus a king, queen or even their children (prince or princess) and 'sovereign' is a ruler or group of people who rule.
I hope this answers your question.
