what does "get short" mean?
Customers: You are so polite. How did you deal with those annoying/angry customers without getting short?
Does "get short" mean get angry/lose temper? Thanks for your help. :)

To be "short" with someone means that you only give them short answers and not the proper respect or politeness. You don't lose your temper, but it shows that you are annoyed and impatient with that person.
"Get short with someone" basically means "start speaking curtly and dismissively to someone".
