What is meat slices (shawarma in Arabic) called in English? Is the same word used in English-speaking countries? This is the meaning as I found it on Google: shawarma ʃəˈwɔːmə/ noun 1. (in some Arabic-speaking countries) a doner kebab. Thanks a lot :)

We say shawarma. If the concept doesn't already exist in English, we simply borrow the foreign word.
