what are the difference between middle and centre?, what are the difference between middle and centre?, for example, we usually call "middle class people", why it is not called as "centre class people". one more example, I am middle of a work, why it is not said as I am centre of a work. To me, both word give me same meaning, so It is hard to choose the word appropriately. can you clarify me ?

Middle: equally distant from the extremes or outer limits; central: the middle point of a line; the middle singer in a trio, middle of the day Centre: an area that is approximately central within some larger region
