keiner spielt I was taking an online lesson when this came up “Keiner spielt”. I understood this to mean "no one is playing / no one plays” but can it also be used to pass an order as in “No one plays!” Thanks

I don't know i what context you would use "No one plays!". Could you make an example in context? Is it in gambling? In Poker you would rather say "Alle passen." In Roulette it is "Rien ne va plus." or "Nichts geht mehr."

Yes, it can be used as an order, though "(Noch) nicht spielen!" is maybe more natural. But you'll see or hear "Keiner bewegt sich!" ("Freeze!") in a police/detective novel or TV series.
