Help with something/ Help in something
When must one use the preposition 'in" after the verb "to help"?
I came across this sentence " He said the United States would help Liberia in the construction of more than 17 Ebola treatment centers".
Could I change "in" for "with"?

"Help with" would be OK too and the meaning is very similar to "help in". I am trying to work out how to express the slight difference in feeling between the two expressions. "Help in" gives the impression that the activity that the help is provided for is happening closer to the present moment. It sounds a bit more purposeful than "help with". Hope I have helped with your understanding of this! Michael
