which one is correct?-XXX over I wrote a list of names and I am going to read from the first one to the last one, how would you expres it? 1.I am going to look it over. 2 I am gong to go over it. 3. I am going to read it over ----------- I wonder if they all means to read someithng carefully? but in my example, I dont want to emphasize if I would read it carefully, maybe just skip the list. I want to emphasize that I will read from the first to the last. so are they still correct?

All three phrases in the list are correct. If you want to say that you will read it but not carefully, you could express it as, "I am going to skim through it." By saying that, you are conveying that you will read the entire thing, but you will not read it carefully. To my ears, the three phrases given imply that you will be using the information you read at a later date. For example, a student might say the night before a test, "I am going to go over my notes."

Your question is unclear and contradictory. You say that you "do not want to read it carefully," but you do want to read it "from first to last."
