There is no case of 알이 is attached to the name. I guess you mean "앓이". "앓이" is noun form of "앓다" which means "suffer from" ex) 배앓이 means "suffering from stomachache" 가슴앓이 means "suffering from heartache" If 앓이 is attached to the name, it means "suffering from missing someone"
