Are both sentences OK?
You didin't come home last night so I lost sleep worrying about you.
I hadn't seen my friend for a long time so we stayed up all night talking.

They're fine, except for the misspelling of "didn't" and the missing commas after "night" in the first sentence and "time" in the second.
