between idiot-proof steps and easy guidence which means to be used with very little risk of failure? which word designed to have the meaning of "to be used with very little risk of failure, idiot-proof steps or the other easy guidence?"

Idiot-proof steps means that they made the directions so easy to follow that even an idiot(dumb person) could do them, therefore if you follow to directions you have little risk of failure. Easy guidance means almost the same thing, it is just said less emphatically.
