Rishimishra's right - if you can use another program to chat, then feel free to use that. I've used Google Hangouts with no problem - would that also work where you are?

It is not a big deal. There are so many messenger instead of Skype. maybe you can have a session on Google Hangout and some other kind of messenger which works for you.
