Hi Tahar, 'TRAVEL' is a verb. (EX. I like to travel. OR l last year I travelled to Iceland.) 'TRIP' on the other hand is a noun. (EX. I love taking trips. OR Last year I took/went on a trip to China with my friends.)

As nouns, travel is uncountable and refers to the actual action of traveling (Travel is easier these days than it was in the past). Trip is countable (I've taken 5 trips to Mars this year). Trip generally refers to a journey of shorter duration. For example, we're going on a trip to the mountains this weekend.
