There is hope for you yet?? “Look at these photographs of some of the criminals that my policeman friend sent to me before his unfortunate demise. These photographs helped us catch some of the criminals. Look here: 2 3 5 7 11 13 17... If you pay attention, you will see that these number have something in common.” “They only appear in the 1 times table, or that of their own number,” deduced Caius. “Exactly! There is hope for you yet, Zip! Did you notice that number 2 is the only even number?” As to "There is hope for you yet", i would like to know whether it means "Zip is promising and worthy to be taught" Thanks.

It is hard to know what the speaker means without knowing the full context of the passage, but here is my best guess: Caius, aka Zip, has observed a pattern, that the photo numbers are all prime numbers. The first speaker has sarcastically complemented him by saying, "there is hope for you yet."
