How should we read this ? $ 1,150 I hesitate between, I know that one answer is wrong but which one ? 1/ one thousand dollars, one hundred and fifty or 2/ one thousand, one hundred and fifty dollars Even if I make a mistake like above, am I understable if I say it orally ?

one thousand, one hundred and fifty dollars is correct. The 'dollars' goes at the end of the numbers. If you say it the other way the listener is likely to be momentarily confused and may ask you to repeat yourself. They will hear it as 1 thousand dollars, and, one hundred and fifty.........what?

one thousand, one hundred and fifty dollars, or eleven hundred and fifty dollars (a shorter, quicker way to say the number). For example: 1,100 = eleven hundred / 2,400 = twenty-four hundred / 100,000 = one hundred thousand.
