A word
Hello!
Recently I came across a word "shenanigans". Context is:" Paul Coates said you treatened to accuse him of all sorts of shenanigans" - quote from Broadchurch season one. How often do native speakers of English use it? I just like how it sounds.
Thank you!

It's used fairly frequently in the US, although it sounds slightly old-fashioned. I like the sound of it too.

It's a word with a bit of appearance and disappearance within use. I'd say if you like it, use it!
It basically means the same thing as "antics", and usually has a connotation of silliness.
Hope this helps :)

I use it a lot! It's one of my favorite words. Usually it means "trouble" or "mischief," but my friends and I like to use it to mean "adventures." It's definitely a fun word, so I say use it! :)
