Sina is right, but they are both linked with the idea of enduring pain. "to stand" is a positive aspect (one can tolerate pain well) and "to suffer" is the negative aspect (one is feeling the pain or is in pain). "suffer" collacates (is usually followed by) "from", but in the example given, there is no need to use "being" - It should be "Camels would/do not suffer from hot/high temperatures." Hope that helps - Finn

stand: to tolerate sb/sth, Camels can stand extremely hot temperatures. suffer: to bother, Camels would not being suffered from hot temperatures. Note that there is no relation between these two words necessarily.
