If I want to ask a child or a friend I’ll say - у тебя есть? If I want to ask more than one child of friend I’ll say – у вас есть? If I want to ask an old or unfamiliar man I’ll say – у Вас есть? The same is when I ask some old or unfamiliar men. It sounds similar but if you should write it you have to use the capital letter B. Of course «у Вас есть» is used in shops, restaurants and with unknown people in other institutions.
