What's the difference between 'What would you like to drink?' and ' What will you have to drink?' What's the difference between 'What would you like to drink?' and ' What will you have to drink?' When I read a textbook, I come up with this sentence 'What will you have to drink?' The situation is a man and a woman is in a bar. I only know the sentence 'What would you like to drink?' I wonder if there are any meanings saying 'will you have to' instead of 'would you like to'. Thanks in advance!

Hi Tomomi! Both questions mean exactly the same thing. They come from the more grammatically cumbersome question, "What would you like to have to drink?" Both of your examples are just a modification of this. I hope this helps!

A man said to a woman 'What will you have to drink' in the textbook.
