I want/dont want (hoshi)
In japanese I know that the word for "want" is hoshi but how would you say "I want that" in a proper sentence?
My guess would be "kore wa hoshi desu".
I would also like to know how to say "I dont want it/that" in japanese. My guess would be "hoshi ja nai" or "kore wa hoshi ja arimasen".
Please correct me :)
Thanks ;)

This-これ(kore) That-あれ(are) It-それ(sore) These-これら(korera) Those-あれら(arera)
"I want that." means 「あれがほしい。」 in Japanese.
"I don't want it/that." means 「それ/あれ は ほしくない。」 in Japanese.

Hi Hara. Usually I reply 「いらないです」 (iranai desu) when someone ask me "Do you want?" 「欲しいですか」(hosii desuka),

Hi, it's not "hoshi (ほし)", it's "hoshii (ほしい)" as Fumito-san already said. Anyway, I'd like recommend you to learn the Japanese characters, hiragana and katakana if you didn't start yet. Good luck to your Japanese.
