El Verbo Gustar
Voy plantear esta pregunta en inglés porque quiero la preguntar correctamente y claramente :)

Why wouldn't one say "me gusto" instead of "me gusta"? Does the ending of the verb agree with what you're referring to in the sentence?

For example, "me gustan las galletas"....the -an ending agreeing with the noun.

I guess what I'm asking is: does the verb gustar agree with something in the sentence? Are there other verbs like this, like encantar?

The way you say you like something is different in Spanish compared to English, in terms of what is the subject and what the object of the sentence is. Many verbs use the same format, just thinking of the top of my head some examples would be:

Aburrir
Fascinar
Bastar
Sobrar
Hacer falta

maybe because is plural cookies, me gusta la galleta(singular present).me gustan las galletas(plural,present). me gusto la galleta(singular,past).me gustaron las galletas(plural,past).
