What is the meaning of the sentence? Die meisten, für die es das erste Mal ist, wirken sehr überrascht und stellen viele Fragen. Dann sind sie so verlegen, dass sie wenigstens eine Minute für den ersten Vorschlag brauchen. I can understand the separate word-combinations, but the whole meaning still eludes me.

Hallo It means: "Most people that do this for the first time seem very surprised and ask a lot of questions. Then they are so insecure (or embarrased) that they need an entire minute for the first suggestion." Does this help? Christiane
