Hi all. How do I complement a restaurant on their food? Either to a waiter or the owner. For example, "that meal was delicious" etc.

Señor, debo decirle que... /Gracias por invitarme, ... (with friends)
1) la comida estuvo/estaba deliciosa/riquísima/exquisita/deleitable.
2) todo estuvo riquísimo.
3) la comida estaba muy rica/sabrosa/buena.
4) la comida estaba en su punto.
The best one for me would be 'La comida estuvo deliciosa/riquísima'. It's very used here.

First, una propina (tip) is always appreciated.  Pero, se puede decir "la comida es rica' me gusta mucho.

Se suele utilizar mucho la palabra "Exquisito".
