Use of Kanji
I try to not use kanji I don't know since I do not know their meaning, readings or even if I wrote them correctly. So, for example, I know these kanji:
自(one self) and 車 (car).
Let's say I wanna write bike じてんしゃ. Would be better for me to write it as 自てん車 or just in hiragana?
Maybe it's ok since typing it with that mixed writting makes me realize that jitensha has those kanjis but the fact that it's mixed maybe it's wrong。

Yes, you can write mixing up hiragana and kanji. There's no problem if you write 自てん車. In my opinion, it's better than using wrong kanji.
