How do you say 'I love you' in Japanese? I want to surprise my significant other by knowing the phrase itself, yet I have seen many different conclusions to how to say so on the internet and various websites. I cannot necessarily find what would be fitting and most importantly "correct". I can understand that the full-out "I love you dearly" wouldn't be a common phrase used in Japan itself, yet simply knowing how to say so would be greatly appreciated.
