Russian proverb?
How would, "It is better to be slapped with the truth, than to be kissed with a lie." be written in Russian, with the Russian alphabet? I have seen it all over, being called a Russian proverb, but I haven't been able to find it written in Russian.

I've never heard anything even remotely similar to that one.
That's either a loose translation of some proverb which nobody knows and never knew, or one of those cases where somebody comes up with a saying and it starts being used as ''an old Chinese proverb'' or ''wise Russian proverb'' or something of this sort.
