For example, a teacher's package consisted of 10 sessions at a total cost of 1,000 ITC. Three (3) sessions are taught but then the teacher cannot continue due to illness. The teacher receives 300 ITC (minus italki's regular commission) and the student's account will be credited 700 ITC. If the student was responsible for the cancellation, then the teacher will receive ITC for each session they have taught in the package at their regular rate for individual sessions up to the total price of the package, with any remaining ITC going back to the student. For example, a teacher's package consisted of 10 sessions at a total cost of 1,000 ITC. The teacher's regular rate for individual 1-to-1 sessions is 150 ITC per session. Three (3) sessions are taught but then the student cannot continue due to illness. The teacher receives 450 ITC (minus italki's regular commission) and the student's account will be credited 550 ITC.
